Roshan Iqbal, our very own Assistant Professor of Religious Studies, won a grant from the Wabash Center, which is funded by the Lily Foundation, for a project titled “Islamic Art and Reframing Perceptions of Islam.” Roshan will be using experiential learning in the form of in-class workshops on Islamic art, both calligraphy and geometric, as a tool to reframe perceptions about Islam. Say congratulations to her if you see her in the halls of Buttrick!
